House rules

The following are some (but not necessarily all) rules in relation to your use of the Site and the Services as to what can and can't be entered, posted, uploaded, shared or transmitted to our servers.
  1. Please do not to register more than one account for yourself, and don't register an account on someone else's behalf either please.
  2. Whilst it may seem good fun, please do not impersonate or pretend to be another person, because we do know who you are!
  3. Neither should you falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity or disguise the origin of any content you post or upload.
  4. Whilst everybody is entitled to a point of view, you agree not to upload or post any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of any other person's privacy, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
  5. The Site is regulated by its users. If you see any content which you feel is inappropriate then do not assume that MyeBook knows about it. Please email us at abuse@myebook.com and we will endeavour to investigate the matter. MyeBook will consider in its absolute discretion whether that content ought to remain on the Site and its decision will be final.
  6. We do not accept any sexually explicit material or pornographic material, or material which makes reference to gratuitous violence or makes violent behaviour look like fun.
  7. We take 'stalking', bullying and harassment, breach of privacy and threats to others very seriously, so don't go there.
  8. You agree not to collect personal data about other users of the Site.
  9. Please keep content on the Site, and do not distribute, disseminate or post, place or send elsewhere, any parts or content of the Site.
  10. We regard the breach of another person's intellectual property as serious. Do not upload, post or e-mail any content that infringes any intellectual property rights of any party.
  11. Please don't wreck the community by putting up junk mail, unauthorised advertising, "spam", "chain letters" or "pyramid schemes", and do not attempt to mess with the site by trying to be clever and modifying it, attacking it, or trying to breach its security.
These rules exist so that MyeBook can be enjoyed by everybody who uses it: it's not all about you, you are part of a community. If you breach these rules or the Terms terms of use this may lead to a warning or termination of your account altogether.
