I live in West Dorset with my husband Giles and our cat Jesse. We have a specialist building company, Ecodeveloper Ltd, for which I am the Finance Director, so I spend a considerable amount of my week sitting on a large pilates ball at my computer! It’s a stressful job with an uncertain future but we believe passionately in what we do and in the opportunity to encourage others to work in a sustainable way.
I have been teaching Iyengar Yoga for nearly 10 years, and am now training for the Intermediate Junior level 2 certificate.
Teaching yoga locally and offering yoga days, weekends and holidays, I have the great priviledge of helping others to find an internal space where the spirit can feel free from earthly stresses through a body and mind which feel spacious and quiet. It’s hard work - hours of training and practice, teaching and study – yet Yoga is a gift to us all, first described originally by Patanjali, defined and refined today by the world’s best teacher and Guru, BKS Iyengar and his family.
