spent the past 12 years successfully working in direct selling organizations. Dillard honed her creative selling and marketing skills while working as a Catering Sales & Local Store Marketing Manager for the Midwest-based convenience retailer, White Hen Pantry, Inc. She credits her knowledge and success of direct selling to her business mentor, Lou Smith, a Mary Kay Independent Sales Director and Josh Gotlin, founder of Inspired Chef - America’s Cooking School. Dillard attended Robert Morris College in Chicago, Illinois and received sales and leadership training at the nationally acclaimed Dale Carnegie Training Center (Illinois). In addition to her sales training, she also received culinary training at the The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and is a Certified Meeting Planner. In 1998, she launched her catering company, Signature Catering & Events with a client roster that included The Field Museum, The Harold Washington Library, Office of The Honorable Danny K. Davis, Draper & Kramer, 100 Black Men of Chicago, the National Black McDonald's Operations Association and Chicago Public Schools, to name a few. Dillard is actively involved with the National Alliance on Mental Illness as a volunteer working to support families affected by mental illness. Her professional affiliations include Meeting Planners International, Direct Selling Women's Alliance and Women In Foodservice Forum. Dillard currently resides in Oak Park, Illinois and is the proud mother of two children.
