____________________________________________________________ Bombsite was first published to support the youth movement as it migrated from London to Britain's North. If you visited Probe records or Eric's in 1977, you most likely read a copy of Bombsite. The fanzine ran for about a year, and during this time Mark H (aka Rip] started beating on Drums, Martin C (aka Al Bum)broke guitar strings, Colin G (aka Grom)thumped his Bass and Clif I (aka Cookie)found a voice. The band originally named Bombsite and later changed to "Why Control" was regularly practicing and playing venues around NW England.
