I'm an elementary school art teacher who would like, someday, to be a children's book illustrator (like several million other people). In the meantime, I sell my art whenever and wherever opportunities present themselves. I've got two other on-line children's books on biguniverse.com: The Color Dragons and I'm Old and I'm Bold, both done in very different styles from this one.
Hobbies:
yoga, playing guitar and piano, painting, drawing, sculpting, running, on-line gaming
Movies and TV:
I'm not much on TV, but I love movies. Some of my favorites are Tim Burton's Big Fish, The Eagle and the Shark, the Big Lebowski, Ed Wood, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?, and Lord of the Rings; I also like vintage Mexican cinema, including Asi Es Mi Tierra, Marcelino Pan y Vino, and Son Tus Perjumenes Mujer
Music:
I like bossa nova music from the '60's, especially the Gilbertos, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Walter Wanderley. Folk music, especially Appalachian, is my passion.

See "About me." Also, I'm re-typing the manuscript of a full-length fantasy novel for juveniles called the Yule Country, which I hope to present on line in the near future. I've painted the cover for it and am in the middle of final re-writes.
